We began our journey by designing, manufacturing, and distributing distinctive, high-end outdoor furniture for the contract and hospitality markets. During our trajectory, we proudly supplied luxury hotels, top restaurant groups, and many renowned companies in the hospitality industry.
Building on this rich heritage, we are now curating a thoughtfully selected collection of premium furniture and home décor. Every piece reflects our commitment to timeless design, expert craftsmanship and exceptional quality.
Meet the Founder
About Karla Koch
From an early age, Karla was drawn to thoughtful, beautiful design. Growing up in Latin America, she was surrounded by color, texture, and craft that shaped her eye and her love for meaningful spaces. Her career began in Miami, where she helped grow her family’s furniture business into a trusted partner for luxury hotels and hospitality brands.
In 2019, she moved with her family to Berlin, reconnecting with her paternal roots. Her path then led her into the tech world, where she led business operations for an international company, but her passion for design never left.
Inspired by her travels, her daughters, and a love of timeless style, Karla founded Fern & Home to curate pieces that bring warmth, character, and an easy sense of sophistication to modern living. Today, while also advising a global non-profit close to her heart, she continues to champion craftsmanship and designs that feel authentic, enduring, and beautifully lived in.
